starcluster on eucalyptus

Hi,
I'm testing StarCluster on Eucalyptus 3.4.2 (Eucalyptus Community Cloud),

It looks like the connection works, e.g. listinstances works,

however when I try to create a cluster I get this error:

Group ID or User ID/Group Name required.

Would you have any suggestion on what could be wrong?
Also, I would like to be able to debug what is going on with the
python debugger, however the CLI wraps everything and debugging is
useless, is there a way of doing that?
