Run StarCluster AMIs locally on QEMU or VirtualBox

I'm trying to figure out how to run StarCluster AMIs locally. Simply
using ISO files from "Download AMI" page as hard drives doesn't work.
It looks like those files should be converted somehow. Can anybody
help me with that issue? Thanks.
