Re: ERROR - image ami-899d49e0 does not exist when trying to create / resize an ebsvolume
This archive was generated by
[rayson_at_computer ]$ starcluster listpublic | grep ami-899d49e0
>>> Listing all public StarCluster images...
 ami-899d49e0 us-east-1 starcluster-base-ubuntu-11.10-x86 (EBS)
And in your config:
AWS_REGION_NAME = eu-west-1
So you should at least fix this by either using the "us-east-1" region, or use an AMI available in the "eu-west-1" region.
Use the "starcluster listpublic" command to list all the AMIs available in the configured region.

Subject: [StarCluster] ERROR - image ami-899d49e0 does not exist when trying to create / resize an ebsvolume
since installing starcluster 0.93 creating or resizing an ebsvolume does not work for me. I am using the eu-west datacenter.
Here the shell output:
/home/paul/.virtualenvs/np/lib/python2.6/site-packages/Crypto/Util/number.py:57: PowmInsecureWarning: Not using mpz_powm_sec. You should rebuild using libgmp >= 5 to avoid timing attack vulnerability.

!!! ERROR - image ami-899d49e0 does not exist
I am new to this, so most likely something I messed up. My config file (sensible information redacted) is attached.
Thank you for your help (and for starcluster).
