Hi Mike,
This is a very specific use case and I'm not sure if it will add additional
functionality beyond the existing ebsimage command. It would definitely be
great if we could prune the list of broken AMIs in listpublic and add 14.04
and 16.04. I have a working image in eu-central for 16.04 that I'm happy
to share if anyone's interested.
