dns_prefix & put

I set the DNS_PREFIX=TRUE and trying to put a file using

starcluster put mycluster file .

gives the following error:

!!! ERROR - node 'master' does not exist


guessing since it should be prefix_master?? How do I point the put command to the prefixed node name?
