Re: set arbitrary security group

Just figured out we can only change security group if the cluster is in vpc. I would like to see an argument in the "starcluster create" command so that we can reuse a security group that we created manually before. My use case is that I need a specific security group to access our production cluster. Took a look at the source code, and it seems not hard to do this. It was build for our use and most likely doesn't match your need. I provided the link to that particular function to give you a sample of code that can change the security group of a node. The billcode tag is something we use for billing. That's not relevant to your primary question if I am correct. I am asking because I don't fully understand the codes. for example, what are tag_billcodes? Also needs some examples to see how to call this plug-in with right arguments to meet my needs. > > >Thanks! > > > >On Thursday, October 30, 2014 10:10 AM, François-Michel L'Heureux <fmlheureux@datacratic.com> wrote: > > > >Hi Jian > > >I don't think it's possible. I've put those functionalities in a plugin I created though.
