Sorry for my late response - I had to test it from home.

The -b option did work and the spot instance was requested at the new
BidPrice. - that is great !!

I was wondering though , what would be the behavior under load balancing
configuration where new instances are added - but at what price ? the
config price ? if so can one change that parameter ? ( where is that being
kept ? could it be changed while the cluster is running ? )
