Re: unable to start a cluster created with starcluster: NoneType object is not iterable

Justin,
Thank you so much for replying back!
No delay at all. I don't expect to get answer so quick.

This solved my immediate problem. I can use starcluster to start and ssh into my cluster now.

I still could not get into another cluster. I made some changes to /etc/hosts and /etc/sysconfig/network files. I also added NIS and NFS to the cluster.
My temporary solution is to start all nodes but one and detach the root volume of the stopped node and manually update ip addresses of other nodes in /etc/hosts. Then I attached it back to the original node, started it and tried to ssh into other nodes.

Thanks!

Hi Jeffrey,

My apologies for the delay. This is a long standing issue that is
fixed in the next 0.93.2 version which should be released later today
- - stay tuned. For now you can get around this issue by skipping
validation:

$ starcluster start -x -V gfscluster

HTH,

~Justin
