Remote Access with OpenSSH and Web Browser
            
            
              This page gives instructions for connecting to the
              StarHPC remote 4 node cluster using OpenSSH and your
              web browser.
            
            
              NOTE: You must have java enabled and
              working in your web browser for this method to work
            
            
              - Go to the StarHPC
              Homepage and click the “Start”
              button.
              
- Copy and paste the appropriate ssh command for
              your platform into a terminal and login to the
              cluster using your password.
              
- Open the web address listed under
              “Accessing the Cluster from your Web
              Browser” in your web browser
              
- An applet window will pop up. Leave all fields as
              they are and press “OK".
   
- Type in your password when prompted.
   
- A graphical window will pop-up showing your
              desktop on the remote cluster. Right click the
              desktop to access SunStudio, Eclipse, Xterm, Firefox,
              etc.
   
- Consult the StarHPC documentation for guides on
              using SunStudio and Eclipse for OpenMP and OpenMPI
              programming.
