UDP permissions not being set

Hi guys, I am trying to open UDP and TCP ports to allow monitoring with ganglia. It works just find for the TCP ports but not for the UDP. Bellow, you'll find my perms and I request them with <PERMISSIONS = http, ganglia_tcp, ganglia_udp> in my cluster configs

Am I missing something?

# open port 80 on the cluster to the world
[permission http]
PROTOCOL = tcp
FROM_PORT = 80
TO_PORT = 80

# Ganglia on TCP
[permission ganglia_tcp]
PROTOCOL = tcp
FROM_PORT = 8649
TO_PORT = 8649

# Ganglia on UDP
[permission ganglia_udp]
PROTOCOL = udp
FROM_PORT = 8649
TO_PORT = 8649
