Carrie,

Well, after a 6-hour wait, it was all for naught. It seemed to be coming up as a "standard" volume type anyway rather than as a larger provisioned IOPS volume. I just looked at the volumes console, and there is no trace of it.

So I wonder if that is a question suitable for starcluster_at_mit.edu<mailto:starcluster_at_mit.edu>, namely can the "resizevolume" command resize a provisioned IOPS EBS volume or just standard volumes? We tried to increase a provisioned IOPS volume from 200GB to 512GB using the "master"node of an existing cluster, and the command aborted.

Attached is the crash report for this incident, "crash-report-14424.txt", plus five other crash reports I found in the "~/.starcluster/logs" directory.
