Thanks very much for the report. I'm working on adding the correct
accounting logic for spot instances to StarCluster. This is useful info
to have because this suggests not all instance responses (ie like the
output of ec2-describe-instances) come up simultaneously.
For now, now to waste your spot requests, you can re-rerun the
"starcluster -d -c
> ~/.starcluster/config2 start -b 0.40 eyes" with the -x option once you
verify that the nodes are up and at least pending if not running. You
can check this by periodically running starcluster listclusters.
I'll keep the list updated with spot instance progress.
